About me

Hi, I’m Antonius.

PhD student in Physics at the University of Oxford, and passionate side-project builder.

I originally built Lock4Good for myself, to finally stick to my screen time limits, but ended up publishing it so more people can use it. I don’t want to profit from this app. I want to help you save time, and make the world a better place by donating all profits to effective charities. Save Time. Do Good.

Why Lock4Good exists

Lock4Good isn’t a for-profit venture; it’s a side project. I wanted a screen time app that actually holds me to my limits, instead of letting me tap “Ignore Limit” every time.

I’ve been involved in effective altruism and effective giving for a while, so the idea came naturally. If breaking your own limit is going to cost money, that money might as well do some good. So Lock4Good gives all of its profits to charity.

The app is meant for everyone, not only people interested in effective altruism. Simply a screen time app that does what it is supposed to. No bullshit. And some good done on the side.
